Once again, we want to congratulate such wonderful support from our Illinois Chess Association players and the great assistance of Edwin Walker, head of our Warren Scholars program, for procuring much of data used in report.

The Illinois Chess Association would like to let the players that played in the K12 and all scholastic players that US Chess will be hosting Supernationals VIII this upcoming May 9-11 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. What makes the Supernationals so special it is only held every four years and combines the US Chess Federation National Scholastic Championship events into one large event. The last Supernationals in 2017, prior to COVID, had the largest attendance in history with over 5000 players. The 2021 Supernationals was on-line only.
